WHAT IS THE PROGRAM ABOUT? The Rainbow Park Expressive Arts Magnet Program provides students with specialized instruction and exposure to the arts in the community through studio classes, Field Trips, and visiting artists in order to promote and nurture creativity, self-expression, and higher thinking skills in the young artist.
WHO CAN APPLY? Any student who is currently in the second, third, or fourth grade, who is interested in art, dance, drama, or music may apply.
WHAT IS THE SELECTION PROCESS? Students will complete their applications either by hand or on the internet. After submitting their completed application and recommendations form, they will be screened for eligibility. If the number of applications exceeds the space available, then a computerized random selection process will take place according to School Board rules. Notification of Acceptance letters are usually sent in April. |
